I saw this huge image of Tux the Linux penguin during my trip to New York in October 2001. It is on a building on the corner of 8th Avenue and 42nd Street, in the vicinity of Times Square. The building was painted as a part of IBMs Peace, Love and Linux Campaign. Unfortunately, when I took this picture they were already painting over one one wall of the building.
The penguin was so large you could even see it from the top of the Empire State Building. This picture was taken a few days earlier, so you can still make out the peace sign, the heart and a smaller penguin which graced the adjacent wall.
